La diva British Beverley Knight devrait sortir un nouvel album très prochainement. Forte de 5 albums, l’artiste reviendrait avec une galette composée de sons « upbeat » et « funky », pour reprendre ses termes. Album jovial et dynamique en conclusion !
L'artiste s'était confiée il y a quelques mois au Daily Star: «I'm in the studio working hard on the record," [...] "It's soul obviously but it has funk and a lot of other elements to it. It won't be a slow album like Adele or Duffy - it will be more upbeat and rocky with big, big vocals. It may sound like early Tina Turner and there may be a little bit of Chaka Khan in there" a rapporté l'artiste au Daily Star.
"100% Beverley Knight" verra la naissance d'une collaboration avec Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, tandis que Guy Chambers, qui avait apporté sa contribution au précédent opus de la chanteuse, "Music City Soul", reprendra du service.
En attendant, un nouveau titre circule actuellement sur la toile. Il s'agit de Every Step, produit par Jam & Lewis.
